Munster rugby star Billy Holland and his wife Lanlih have announced the arrival of a bouncing baby boy.
The pair, who sadly lost their daughter Emmeline last May, know she is watching over her brother.
Sharing a picture of him cradling the baby and holding his wife close, Billy introduced the tot to the world.
“Matthew Conor Holland – our gift from Emmeline,” he said.
The new dad added, “So proud of my wonderful wife, Lanlih.”
Little Emmeline sadly passed away when she was just six months old, due to a number of medical issues.
Following her death, Billy and Lanlih appeared on the Late Late Show, where they raised €600,000 for Crumlin’s Children Hospital.
The pair spoke candidly about the incredible care their little girl received at CHI in Crumlin before her passing, and wanted to raise funds for the continued services in the children’s hospital.
