Mothercare has issued a recall notice for a baby bouncer chair.
The issue is regarding the assembling of the product which is leading to a risk of the baby falling through the chair.
The company is asking parents or anyone who purchased it to return it to the store.
The notice read: “Mothercare is carrying out a product recall of the Mothercare baby bouncer. A problem has been identified whereby the bouncer may be assembled incorrectly thus presenting a risk that the fabric seat unit could detatch from the frame resulting in the baby falling through.”
If you’re concerned you or someone you know has this product look out for the name, branded as “Mothercare Loved So Much”.
The bouncer was sold in stores and on the Mothercare website.
Only bouncers with a batch date of 12/2015 onwards and with a barcode ending in 843611-3 are affected by this recall, you can check for the codes on the lower supporting frame.
If you have purchased one of these bouncers please stop using it immediately and return to your nearest Mothercare store for a full refund.
