Missy Keating shuts down Love Island rumours: “It’s not a show for me”

Missy Keating has finally responded to claims she’ll be appearing in an upcoming season of Love Island.

Rumours began circulating a few months ago that the Irish beauty would feature on the hit reality show – but she says there’s absolutely no truth to the comments.

Missy is in a very happy relationship with Mark Elebert and wouldn’t do anything to jeopardise what they have.

Speaking to the Irish Mail on Sunday, she said, “Last year when I was in London they did contact me but I was in a relationship so it was a no, I don’t know where the whole thing came from this year.

“It was never on the cards and never was and probably never will be. Love Island is not really a show for me, maybe other shows but no, I’m a taken lady.”

The pair first met in school when they were 13-years-old, but it was only some time later at a concert, that things took a romantic turn.

Gushing over her partner Mark, Missy revealed, “He’s the best. All the Malahide festivals were happening, we went to Kodaline, Chic, they were all basically our first dates.

“Our first date was going for icecream and that was the only time I was nervous, but it was so amazing.”
