Missy Keating has shared an adorable video of her Dad, Ronan Keating and his wife, Storm attempting a tango. The pair sent her the video as they support Missy on her Dancing with the Stars journey.
The Irish model and influencer posted the video to Instagram captioned; “Dad’s Tango” alongside some laughing emojis as she clearly wasn’t impressed at their tango attempt!
Storm and Ronan were both staying the K Club in Kildare over the weekend as they flew here from London to support Missy on week five of Dancing with the Stars.
On this week’s show Missy Keating and her partner, Ervinas Merfeldas danced a dramatic tango to ‘Prisoner’ by Miley Cyrus and their efforts scored them a 22 from the judges.
Brian said; “Tango of two halves. Top half excellent, spine and head position. You need to tidy your feet a bit. Bit of a swan of a tango. A very good attempt.”
Loraine also commented; “Useful tango – stalking action with circle. You need to get hip line slightly forward, slight up. You’ve got it. Give us more.”
Recently Missy shared her plans for after Dancing with the Star, and she revealed that she’d like to get back into acting, something she had a huge passion for when she was younger.
Speaking with EVOKE she said; “I really want to focus on acting, it’s something that’s been a passion of mine for years. As a kid, I did a little bit of acting and I love it. I want to get back into it and work hard in that. Hopefully, I’ll succeed one day in that.”
“There are so many amazing Irish actors, there’s proper talent here,” she said.
Missy had a budding acting career a few years ago having appeared in the Irish film Dark Touch as the leading role when she was 12, as well as having a part in The Sea that same year
Having landed some impressive roles over the years, Missy stepped back from acting to focus on other passions as she grew older, but now is the right time to try again, “When I was younger I tried acting, and then I wanted to join a band. So I joined a band, then I gave that up. Then I became a model!” she told EVOKE.
Her dream role? She admitted she would have loved to appear in Game Of Thrones. We are sure there’ll be lots of excellent opportunities coming Missy’s way in the future, for now we are enjoying following her DWTS journey!
