DWTS’ Missy Keating has announced that she won’t be dancing on the show this weekend due to COVID.
The week, which is ‘Dedicated Dance Night’ was set to be a special one for Missy, as she was preparing to dedicate her dance to her grandmother, Marie Keating, who passed away before she was born.
Taking to Instagram to share the news she said:
“Absolutely devastated to announce that due to Covid, I won’t be performing on Dancing with the Stars this Sunday”
“Dedicated Dance Night was something I really wanted to be part of. My dance was going to be in honour of my beautiful grandmother, Marie Keating, who I never got to meet”

“Those who know her cancer story, know she was taken from our family at an extremely young age, and this was my moment to be with her and dance for her. I’m heartbroken with the circumstances”
However, as devastating as it is for Missy to miss out on what would have been a special week for her, she’s looking forward to returning to the dance floor again once she makes a full recovery.
“Please God I will be back on that dancefloor next week. I turn 21 next Friday so Ervinas and I have a super fun performance planned to celebrate it”
