The current Miss Universe Ireland has gone viral on social media for stealing the spotlight during this year’s Miss Universe Pagent.
Flying to Florida, USA to take part in the 69th annual paegent, Nadia Sayers from Belfast was beaten out by MIss Mexico who took home the Miss Universe title, however, that didn’t mean our very own Nadia didn’t receive any air time.
In a short clip that has now been shared thousands of times, the pageant’s host Mario Lopez can be seen delivering his lines to the camera. Directly behind him, Nadia is blocked from the camera’s view, and so never missing a trick, Miss Ireland made herself seen.
Taking a step to the side, Nadia placed herself directly in front of the camera, giving a smile to all those watching.

While someone else said: “Miss Ireland is my spirit animal!”
“YEAAAAHH!! GO GET THAT SCREEN TIME!!!” added another.

Although Nadia didn’t take home the title, she still did the Irish very proud, sporting a show stopper charcoal sequin gown, and later on wowing the audience with her Celtic folklore costume, complete with wings and butterfly hair accessories.
Speaking about her choice of costume she said on Instagram:
“Fairies originated from Ireland and we are so proud to share the magical history of Ireland on the Miss Universe stage.”
