A massive congratulations is in order for Dr Ivanna McMahon as she has won Miss Ireland 2022.
The 27 years old from Barefield, Ennis, Co. Clare studied medicine at University College Cork and graduated in 2020.
She worked in the GP Scheme at Tralee General Hospital throughout the pandemic and is now taking a well deserved year out.
Before being crowned winner, she wowed guests with her bewitching performance on the harp for the talent portion of the competition and stunned in a black sequined evening gown.
Dr Ivanna entered the competition as Miss Munster but left with the Miss Ireland title.
Being crowned by 2021’s winner Pamela Uba, in the ceremony at the Royal Theatre in Castlebar, Mayo on Saturday night.
The Clare woman was selected out of the 36 finalists, and will now be representing us at the Miss World Pageant, which will be held in Puerto Rico, this December.
Miss Dublin Central, Jasmine Gerhardt, was first runner up in the competition, with Miss Dublin Katie O’Connor being second runner up.
