Michael Carruth has become the latest celeb to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars.
The pro boxer and his partner Karen Byrne performed a Tango to Spandau Ballet’s hit track Gold, and scored 13 points; the second-lowest of the night.
The pair found themselves in the bottom two alongside Lottie Ryan and Pasquale La Rocca, before it was revealed Michael and Karen would be the ones to go.
Gracious in defeat, Michael said, “A massive thank you to everyone who has voted and showed their support for me over the past few weeks.
“I have had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of it. I gave my all and am so honoured to have been a part of this wonderful show.”
He continued, “Lastly thank you to my amazing partner Karen thank you for being so patient with me every week I couldn’t have done it without you!
“Best of luck to the rest of the contestants I will be cheering you all on every week.”
Sharing a snap of the pair together, Karen added, “Well done champ. You have been a pleasure to teach every week.”
Micheal Carruth was the third star to leave the show, after Glenda Gilson and Yewande Biala.
