Met Eireann has issued a weather alert from 6 o’clock this morning as temperatures continue to soar.
Keep the suncream in your bag, pop on some sunglasses and wear light breezy clothes because today is going to be hot.
Today, top temperatures are expecting to reach a sizzling 27 degrees in some parts.
The weather is set to remain hot throughout the week with the weather alert lasting until Friday night.
Met Eireann revealed the max temps expected this week (°C):
Today (Monday) 24 to 27
Tuesday 24 to 28
Wednesday 24 to 30
Thursday 24 to 30
Friday 23 to 29
They added: “Temperatures will be a little lower near coasts, especially the east coast due to onshore breezes.”
