It’s been a week of high temperatures and glorious sunshine, and it looks like its not going anywhere anytime soon!
With European countries experiencing record breaking heatwaves, and London temps nearing on 40 degrees – Ireland is following suit with another week of sunshine forecast.
Met Eireann confirmed that early next week temperatures will hit the mid 20’s again.
“Monday will be dry with sunshine for the bulk of the country. Highest temperatures will range between 18 and 23 degrees with light variable breezes. There’s a risk of increasing cloud in the south bringing rain on to southern coasts. It’ll be mainly dry overnight.
“Tuesday will see showers with the risk of longer spells of rain in Leinster. There’ll be dry, sunny spells for most too though. Winds stay light northerly in direction through until Wednesday when they will become light to moderate northwest.
