Maura Higgins is one busy woman.
So it’s understandable that not even her own fans can keep up with her!
Constantly on the go, it’s hard to pinpoint where exactly Maura lives, but now she’s setting the record straight.
Opening up about her current living situation in a recent Instagram Q&A, Maura admitted she just assumed that everyone already knew where she lived.

“A lot of people think I live in Ireland still,” Maura began.
“But I actually moved to the UK straight after the show [Love Island] so I’ve been living there nearly five years now.
“I can’t believe it’s been that long since I did the show.”
Continuing on Maura explained: “I live in Essex and the reason I moved to Essex was because I was training for Dancing on Ice and it was close to Essex. I just never moved out.
“And I’m not really a city girl,” she added, before sharing that she prefers the countryside.
Maura also admitted that she lived in a hotel after initially finishing up on Love Island.
“I came off the show and all I had was a suitcase with crusty bikinis.”
