Maura Higgins has confirmed her first acting role, and we CANNOT wait!
The Love Island star is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming comedy, The Spin. The film is set in Ireland, and Maura recently flew to Belfast to film her scenes for the project.
While it’s a priority number one convo for all of us, Miss Maura has stayed quiet on the details…until now that is. During an IG Q&A, she was asked: “Are you excited about ‘The Spin?’”
With the model confessing: “Oh my god I’m SO excited, but I’m also so nervous. I never get nervous, but I will be very nervous watching that back.”
Explaining for followers who (somehow) hadn’t heard the news, she said: “For anyone who doesn’t know, this is the movie that I did my first bit of acting in. You know me, I love a challenge. I had such a good time, the people that I was working with were incredible.”
While we’re used to see Maura as the uber-confident bombshell, the 32-year-old admitted she was a bit nervous about her debut on the silver-screen.
“I can’t say too much about it but it was an incredible experience. I’ll be very nervous watching it back, yeah, a million percent,” she confessed.
Continuing: “It’s a hard one because when you’ve not done something before, you just don’t know what to expect. Like obviously I’m comfortable in front of cameras and all of that jazz, but I don’t know I just feel nervous about watching it.”
Adding: “I’ll probably have a pillow in front of my face I’m not joking.”
A source previously told The Sun: “Maura plays a character called Rose in The Spin. It’s a British film which follows two friends travelling through Ireland looking for old music records.”
