Maura Higgins has reportedly landed her very own ITV2 reality tv show.
Having rose to fame as one of the breakout stars of Love Island 2019, Maura’s outgoing sense of humour and fiery nature has since caught the eye of ITV bosses.
However, while usually producers create spin off shows showcasing previous Love Island couples, it is reported that Maura will be doing her show solo, meaning that Curtis may not play any role in the series.
A source told the The Sun: “While her and Curtis are still together, no-one really knows what the future holds for them as a couple so producers are focusing on Maura.”
The Sun also reports that the series will follow Maura as she tries her hand at a number of activities such as bungee-jumping and pottery as she slowly ticks off her turning 30 bucket list.
A source said: “Maura is great on screen so bosses want to create a platform where viewers can still get their fix.”
They added, “She has ratings-winner potential, they just have to settle on the right tone.”
Well we certainly can’t wait to see this!
