While Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard’s romance may have taken some viewers by surprise, it seems their attraction for each other started way before either one entered the villa.
Days after his break-up with Amy Hart, Maura confessed her feelings towards Curtis and their relationship has been blossoming ever since.
It seems they were destined to end up together, as before they even appeared on the show, they were equally as keen on one another.
Curtis previously admitted to sliding into Maura’s DMs, while Maura fancied Curtis from afar.
Reading online reports of the rumoured line-up before entering the villa, Curtis caught Maura’s eye almost immediately – so it was no surprise to her friends and family that the pair have ended up together.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, her mum Sharon said, “I did see it coming because, when there was speculation of this year’s contestants, Maura did mention that he looked nice but she would have to see what his personality was like.”
Her mum is thrilled she’s found someone who makes her so happy and would be delighted to welcome him back to Longford.
“He seems like a really nice guy,” she began.
“I would like to see them together on the outside, of course, if Maura is happy. He would be very welcome to Longford for a cuppa and a bun!”
