Martin King and Jenny McCarthy have shared their utter joy, as their first granddaughter has made her way into the world.
The pair, who share five children, couldn’t contain their delight when they heard little Sophia was born.
The tiny tot arrived on the anniversary of his father’s death – and they believe she’s a gift from above.
Sharing a picture of the newborn, proud granddad Martin said, “Woke up today to the incredible news that our first granddaughter had said hello world. Not due to arrive until 22nd but she arrived today.”
He continued, “Last Easter Monday my dad passed away, this Easter Monday he sent us this wonderful gift.”
Meanwhile, Jenny reveals that due to Covid19 they haven’t been able to meet the little girl, but are counting down the days until they can do so.
“We are beyond besotted with her. We haven’t physically been able to meet her yet,” she said.
“She’s not even 24 hours old but by God there is so much love for her already. Feeling so grateful.”
