Lucy Kennedy has opened up about her close relationship with the Ireland’s Got Talent gang.
Applications for the second series of the show are already open, with auditions starting in November, and host Lucy can’t wait to get the gang back together.
The 42-year-old told VIP Magazine about the special bond she has with judge Michelle Visage.
“Myself and Michelle will one day marry! You know that we love each other? I absolutely adore her. We are friends for life. It’s bizarre, the second we met each other we were like we’re going to be in each others lives forever.
“We had such good chats, she was my pal on Ireland’s Got Talent, When Jason would go home, and Louis would go home to his own bed – even if we were in Mexico he’d try and go home to his own bed – Denise would go to her room and chill out but myself and Michelle would get into our PJs take all our makeup off, eat Dominoes and talk about life!”
The presenter has a jam-packed season of Living With Lucy coming to Virgin Media One (formerly TV3) this season, including Nathan Carter and Gemma Collins, but we reckon Michelle would be a great one for the sleepover show.
“I would love to live with her she is my number one ask,” Lucy told VIP at the launch of Virgin Media One.
“But she’s so busy between Drag Race, she’s in LA or she’s touring, and she’s not over in Ireland till November, it’s just too late.”
So while Michelle is jet-setting, do they still stay in touch?
“Yes we have a little WhatsApp group,” Lucy says, however, there is one person noticeably absent from the group chat.
“Myself, Jason, Michelle and Denise have it, but Louis is not on Whatsapp and he’s delighted that he isn’t in it because then we’d just contact him the whole time. He doesn’t want to hear all our irrelevant stories but we love them,”
