Love Island’s Amy Hart left the Villa in a tearful episode this week, but it looks like she has one more uncomfortable situation to face in Mallorca!
The much loved contestant said goodbye to her fellow islanders following the breakdown of her relationship with Curtis Pritchard, who remains in the villa.
But now, Amy will be coming face to face with her ex’s brother – and AJ Pritchard is set to appear on this week’s episode of After Sun.
Ballroom dancer AJ has revealed that Amy reached out to him when she landed back in the UK – and we’re set to see their interactions on our screens this week!
“She spoke to me. She sent me a message actually afterwards and said she feels like she knows the family and she could only praise Curtis about being honest.” AJ said on Dan Wootton’s talkRADIO show.
“I will see her on Sunday I will be doing Aftersun so I will see Amy and the other cast.”
Amy and Curtis were early favourites to win the show, as they looked to be one of the steadiest couples from the jump, but following the dramatic Casa Amor episodes, the pair called off their blossoming relationship.
The scenes were pretty heartbreaking to say the least, and AJ has revealed that he felt his brother was ‘harsh’ in how he handled the situation.
“Sometimes he was maybe a bit too brutally honest. He could have let her down a bit softer rather than saying ‘yes, I don’t see myself marrying you and having kids with you’.
“That was harsh, I’m not lying, it was harsh.”
“But it’s better to be honest. Rip that bandage off. I think it was best to be straight because you don’t want to play with people’s emotions. It’s tough enough in there anyway. Everyone feels vulnerable. You’re being judged by other people.”
Love Island After Sun airs at 10pm on Sunday on Virgin Media Two.
