Yes, she and Mark Sweeney said “I do” in Tipperary, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, followed by a beautiful reception at the five-star Cashel Palace Hotel, which Louise previously described as their “dream” wedding venue.
Taking to Instagram this week, Louise decided to answer a little Q&A all to do with the big day.
Starting off with the venue, Louise shared how she got married in St Michael’s Church in Tipperary Town, just a short 15-minute drive from where they were holding the reception.

“Both my parents are from Tipp town, and the church is right beside the house my dad grew up in,” she noted.
Louise added how they had also been there a lot over the years, so it was lovely to be able to hold the ceremony somewhere that held so much meaning for them — not to mention their priest, Fr Chris, who made the ceremony extra personal and funny.
Louise also shared that she walked down the aisle to Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift, played on strings, before walking back out to All You Need Is Love by The Beatles.
The reception itself featured a his-and-hers cocktail station, which was a last-minute addition but proved to be a big hit with guests.

“Another nice detail (copied from my sister’s wedding) was that we had pictures of both our parents on their wedding day beside the cake, and now it lives in our sitting room,” she added.
Touching on the come down, Louise said their experience was different to most, as the days following their wedding were quite sad due to the passing of their good friend Jamie Gill.
“But we are so grateful to have the happy memories from the day to look back on,” she added.
As for what’s next, the pair are currently looking forward to their honeymoon in the Maldives in January. How lovely!
