Being a mum is no easy job and for many first time mothers, life came seen overwhelming at times.
For Louise Cooney, things are no different.
Louise and her partner Mark Sweeney welcomed the birth of their beautiful first child, Jude last year.
Since then, she’s been keeping her followers updated along the way with how she’s finding motherhood.
Taking to Instagram to discuss how she does it all after being asked in an Instagram Q&A session, Louise candidly admitted: “I definitely don’t do it all,” followed by a laughing emoji.
“I try my best and prioritise but life is certainly different and the amount of time I have is different than before having a baby.
“I know at times the lists can feel endless and the things you do for you tend to end up at the bottom,” she added.
“I try and remind myself it’s just a season and there’s so many lovely thing about this time so try and keep perspective on that, but also i’ve had to get better at asking for help when I need it it or a break when I need it”.
Continuing on, Louise mentioned how she finds reaching out to other mums for advice always helps her.
Adding: “What do they do, how do they make time, what shortcuts are they taking.”
“I think the stuff that was important to me before, doesn’t feel quite as big anymore. Jude is my sole focus now,” she explained.
