As Bonnie Ryan prepares to kick-off her singing career, she reveals it’s Louis Walsh who’s helping her get there.
According to Goss.ie, Bonnie said she had “learned a lot” from the X Factor judge who also helped launch the careers of Boyzone and Westlife.
“Louis is great. He’s definitely given me a lot of advice before, I went on tour with Westlife and Shane Ward and he brought me on with them years ago,” Bonnie told Goss.
The daughter of the late Gerry Ryan is busy co-writing songs for her first album and is currently going between Ireland and The UK working on her tracks.
“It’s a very long process, I’m over and back from London in meetings and stuff. I’m working away on my writing and hopefully I’ll get some tracks recorded really soon,” she said.
“The album is happening at the moment. I have a co-writer who is collaborating with me right now, we’re sending stuff back and forth.”
Although Bonnie hinted that it would have some hip-hop vibes, it seems that she didn’t want to give too much away.
“I’m going for a hip-hop approach, it’s a little bit different,” Bonnie said.
In December, the late DJ’s daughter poignantly said that her Dad Gerry had secretly wanted to become a rockstar himself.
“He wanted me to do whatever was going to make me happy and he came on all of my tours, and secretly I think he wanted to be the one on stage because a little bit of him wanted to be a rockstar,” Bonnie told RSVP.
