Looking to keep the kids entertained? TG4 is set to air Campaí Cúla4 for five weeks

TG4 has announced that it will air five weeks of Campaí Cúla4 over the summer beginning this month.

The perfect way to keep children entertained over the socially-distanced summer, the TV bosses are hoping to fill the summer camp gap for young children across the country.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, many summer camps have been postponed and or canceled for the summer holidays. Campaí Cúla4 is set to begin on the 29th of June at 10am, with a different theme each week.

From wellbeing to television, the camp will see a number of themes over the series’ course, with little ones learning a range of new skills each episode.

The first episode will be based on the traditional arts, hosted by TG4’s Orla Ní Fhinneadha.

Week two will focus on food, wellbeing, and nature.

The third camp will teach children about technology & creativity, with Jules Ní Chonchubhair from Techspace answering an inquisitive questions your little ones may have.

Week three with be a fun one for all children interested in sports and fitness, getting them involved with a wide range of sports.

The fifth and final week will focus on media, teaching children about the wonders of the creative world including television, radio, podcasts, vlogging, and writing.

This comes as both ‘Cúla4 ar Scoil’ and RTE’s Home School Hub wraps up for the summer holidays since beginning in early spring. Both shows begin airing following the closure of primary schools due to the coronavirus pandemic, filling the education gap for 1st to 6th class students.
