Eamonn Holmes has revealed he is excited to get his wife back now that her time in Strictly has come to an end.
Ruth and her dance partner Anton Du Beke were booted off the Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night after a dance-off against Jonnie Peacock and Oti Mabuse.
Though Ruth was visibly upset about having to leave the show, her husband is looking forward to having her home.
Eamonn was very vocal on social media throughout her time on the show, highlighting his support for her but also expressing how much he missed her.
When it was announced that the presenter was leaving the competition, her husband took to Instagram and Twitter to pay tribute to her.
Along with the photo he said: “Well it’s #Strictly over and my darling Ruthie has no complaints. Thanks to the support of you amazing folk she had an amazing run with an amazing partner. I am feeling a lot of Love for her out there but I am also looking forward to having my Wife & our Life back.”
Eamonn also thanked Ruth’s partner Anton for his work throughout the show.
“I will always admire how @mrantondubeke stood up for my Girl . Thanks to him and all of you,” she said.
Ruth also took to social media to thank all her friends and fans for their support.
