Dollymount Strand hosts the year’s first big summer event this weekend, May 20th and 21st. With activities and events for all the family including a beach market, kids zone and main stage performances from the likes of Midnight Therapy, The King King Ban and Davie Furey, there’s something for everyone. This two day event is completely free and also has a host of after parties lined up around the city. Head on down between 10am and 6pm to soak up the atmosphere.

Dublin welcomes some of the biggest names in Literature as the ILFDublin takes centre stage. The events span out over 18 different locations across so the city, so there’s sure to be something on near you. The leading dance event in Ireland takes place this weekend, which will bring out some of the world’s best dancers and choreographers to perform for Irish audiences. The festival, which has been taking place annually since 2004, will have events running across Dublin from the 18th to the 20th of May. Cork’s biggest food and drink festival comes to tow over the weekend. With an host of guest speakers including David Prior, Michelle Darmody and Hazel Allen, tickets for each event are individually priced and specific to each location. Book your tickets to any of the huge range of events here, and remember any individual event tickets entitles you to free entry in the festival’s Fringe Festival that features the likes of Cully and Sully . The events span across the whole weekend!
