The Christmas season is among us and whether you want a cosy night in or an evening out with friends we have a few ideas that are sure to keep you entertained….
Get in the festive spirit
The I Believe Christmas festival experience is one not to be missed. With a 50ft Christmas tree, food and drink stalls, crafts for sale, and even the big man himself, its a great event to visit with family, friends or your partner. There’s something for everyone! Great TV entertainment
The great Irish institution- The Late Late Toy Show is on this Friday at 9:35pm on RTE One and it’s not to be missed. This years show will feature lots of surprises with over 200 guests, some amazing guest stars and of course Ryan in his famous Christmas jumper (or three)! The Graham Norton line up is also pretty fab so it will be a tough call on what you pick to watch.
New Cinema Releases
Although technically it’s not out until Tuesday, Christmas with the Coopers is worth the wait. This Christmas themed film stars Diane Keaton, Ed Helms and Amanda Seyfried and is all about a family coming back together for Christmas. It’s the perfect viewing for getting you into the festive spirit. Other film options that are open to view now are Black Mass starring Johnny Depp, Carol starring Cate Blanchett, or the new Pixar release, The Good Dinosaur.
U2 at the 3 Arena
If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket U2 are playing in the 3 Arena for their last nights in Dublin as part of their Innocence and Experience tour. The band have played two nights already and will wrap here tomorrow night. Tickets are still available for tonight (27th) and tomorrow’s (28th) shows. Visit here for tickets!
Have a comedy night out
Comedian Kevin Bridges is playing at The Olympia Theatre on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00pm. Why not go along for an evening of comedy and fun! Tickets are available here.
