Lisa McHugh has revealed she’s on the road to recovery following a shoulder operation earlier this month.
The country music star went under the knife at the beginning of July to alleviate some pain and discomfort – and admits she’s already feeling the benefits.
Sharing an update on her health, Lisa said, “I’ve been recovering and resting. I had my check-up yesterday and I’m on the road to recovery.
“The surgeon was very pleased with how things are mending. They basically created a lot more space for my shoulder joint to move because the bones were rubbing together.
“There’ll be no more pain. I’m healing very well and getting myself hyped up to get back on stage.
“Until then, I’m resting and spending quality time with family. It’s nice to do nothing but spend time with them.”
Lisa is set to perform at Farmer’s Bash, Live at the Beach, next month with fellow country stars Nathan Carter, Una Healy and Kiefer Sutherland.
The show takes place on August 9th in Portrush, Co. Antrim.
