Exciting news for Lisa McHugh and her fiancé, Nathan Khan today as the couple have announced the birth of their first child.
The country music singer revealed the news to social media, sharing a gorgeous black and white close up of the little one’s tiny hands.
Captioning the snap Lisa shared they have welcomed a baby boy; “He’s finally here and he’s everything.”
Many famous faces were quick to share their congratulations with the singer in the comments. Una Healy said; “Congratulations Lisa!” as did fellow singer, Aimée “ahh congratulations!”
Bonnie Ryan also shared her delight at the news posting; “Congratulations lisa xxx” and country music star, Jake Carter posted; “Congrats Mchugh.”
The couple shared the happy news that they were expecting back in August of last year, choosing to share on Lisa’s birthday. Announcing that they were expecting she said; “The most special birthday to date. Thank you so much for all the love today WE had an amazing day.”
“Out of every dream and aspiration I hoped to achieve in life, becoming a mum has always been number 1 on the list and I cannot tell you how excited and incredibly blessed we feel to be starting our little family.”
“We cannot wait to meet you Baby K,” she added.
In August 2020, the couple announced the news that they were engaged. Posting some snaps from the beach Lisa showed off her gorgeous sparkler saying; “Officially the happiest and luckiest girl in the world.”
“I cannot wait to marry my best friend and the man of my dreams.”
Recently she opened up to the Irish Mirror about planning their big day; “It’s been a tough year in so many ways, but it’s been a really exciting year personally, being able to have time to work on organising my dream wedding.”
“Normally I wouldn’t have had the time if I was on tour, so in one way it worked out really well. I had time to do it all myself, which is really exciting.”
The Scottish born star, who has lived in Ireland for over a decade, revealed that they plan to marry here in a romantic Irish ceremony; “I’ve been living in Ireland for 11 years now, my partner Nathan is from here too and my family love a good Irish wedding, so it gives them an excuse to come over too.”
