Lisa Cannon has spoken out in support of Jennifer Aniston’s recent tirade.
The Friends star explained that she was sick and tired of being asked if she was pregnant or if she had plans to start a family -and our favourite Xposé presenter can very much relate to her grievances!
Lisa admitted in her column with the Irish Sun that although she was guilty of wanting to ask Jen about her baby plans when she interviewed her in the past, she empathises with the barrage of scrutiny she comes under on a daily basis.
She said, “I’ve met her three or four times now and wanted to find out whether she and Justin were thinking of starting a family and what her workout routine is, as she looks so good.
“So yep, I’m not gonna lie and say I didn’t want to know those things, I did.”
“But she’s also articulate, sensitive, pissed off and not preggers but just eating and living well. I’ve had people ask me was I pregnant too and it’s bloody awful and embarrassing.”
Lisa then went on to say that women need to stop basing their worth on their body shape.
She said, “The trend of body shaming and having a warped image of perfection has to stop. Let’s not be women whose worth comes from their dress sizes.”
We couldn’t agree more, Lisa!
