The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has announced the recalling of a Lidl food product.
Lidl has had to recall a Paté due to potential health issues.
The Warren and Sons Pâtés were labelled incorrectly and have the wrong use-by-date.
“Due to a labelling error, Lidl Ireland is recalling the above Warren and Sons Pâtés. The implicated products either have an incorrect ‘use-by’ date of 25/12/2019 or have no ‘use-by’ date printed on packs. The ‘use-by’ date is located on the side of the product packs,” the statement said.
“Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Lidl Ireland stores that sold the implicated products. It is recommended that these products are not consumed. Instead, return them to a Lidl Ireland store for a full refund.”
The three products include 175g packs of Warren & Sons Ardennes Pâté, Warren & Sons Brussels Pâté and Warren & Sons Reduced Fat Brussels Pâté.
The batch code of the affected products will be with ‘Use-by’ date: 25/12/2019 or packs with no ‘use-by’ date.
