A decade after her death, Liam Neeson reveals he makes daily visits to the grave of his late wife Natasha Richardson to have a chat.

The pair, who share two children Michael and Daniel, were together for 15 years before she tragically passed away in 2009. Natasha sustained a head injury following a ski-accident, and died from a bleed on the brain some days later.

To this day, Liam fills her in on everything that is going on in their daily lives, and admits he misses her dearly.

“I speak to her every day at her grave which is about a mile and half down the road,” he told Inquirer.net.

“I go down there quite often, so I do speak to her as if she’s here. Not that she answers me.”

He added, “I also speak to a couple of deceased actors that I knew years ago back in Ireland. Is that religious? I don’t know. I was brought up Catholic.

“But I certainly question death and life and is there an afterlife a lot more, not least because I’m now 68 years of age. I’m way past middle age.”

Liam’s mother Catherine (‘Kitty’) sadly passed away during lockdown, and due to travel restrictions, the actor was unable to attend her funeral.

She passed away peacefully at the age of 94 after being ill for some months.

A private funeral service was held in Co. Antrim, while around 100 people stood along the street to show support for the family, with social distancing rules in place.
