There isn’t a more famous Irish show than The Late Late Show, and there’s certainly no holiday more Irish then St. Patrick’s Day.
So naturally The Late Late Show’s St. Patrick’s Day Special is one of the most beloved Irish specials. And this year’s looks set to be a great as iconic actor Liam Neeson will be appearing on the show.
A spokesperson for RTÉ said: “Liam Neeson is confirmed to join host Ryan Tubridy on next week’s Late Late Show St Patrick’s Day special.”
So far Liam is the only guest confirmed for the show.
But the Antrim man and host Ryan Tubridy will have plenty to chat about. Especially seen as Liam was recently cast in Neil Jordan’s upcoming movie.
Reteaming once again with the famous director, Neeson will play a convict set for release who is forced to break a terrorist out of prison.
Entitled The Riker’s Ghost, the gripping thriller will be a “unique take on the prison escape.”
“A bare-knuckle ride from incarceration to freedom, by someone who just wants to finish his term,” Jordan said of the project.
