Laura Whitmore has spoken out against those leaving comments regarding her latest photoshoots. The snaps, taken with Hunger Magazine, are not like the ‘typical’ pregnancy photoshoot we’re so used to seeing.
Instead of styling her in the classic loose floral maxi dress, Laura looks particularly fierce in lingerie, killer heels with slicked back hair and a red lip. She looks incredible.
However, since sharing these snaps to Instagram, following her pregnancy announcement last week, the Irish presenter has been receiving lots of criticism.

Posting to her stories she shared; “Thanks for all the love this week. To the few people who are offended by a pregnant woman’s body and someone taking control of their own narrative, you need to take a hard look at yourself.”
She continued; “Ask yourself why you choose to put negativity out into the world? Maybe, just maybe, you an change your mindset, become a better person (I do have hope) and make the world a little nicer.”
Laura Whitmore shared the news that she and her partner, Iain Stirling were expecting their first child together on Instagram last week.
Sharing a photo of an adorable babygro which reads ‘Sweet Child of Mine, Coming 2021’, Laura wrote, “So I’ve always tried to be protective over the personal side of my life. A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we’ve chosen not to share publicly.”
“However I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share – and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control. Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021.”
She continued, “It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet. Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning. I wasn’t hungover like everyone thought.
“In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade! We’d appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life.”
