We’ve been slightly baffled by how some of the contestant’s names are spelled on this season’s Love Island.
Traditional Irish names, that we know so well like Conor and Shauna have slightly more eclectic spellings with the addition of a ‘gh’ at the end.
Contestant Shaughna was delighted on last night’s show as new man in the villa, Connagh spelt his name the similarly to her. Clearly this makes them kindred spirits.
Twitter has been a little confused about the spelling of their names, and now Laura Whitmore has joined in on the conversation.
Today she changed her Twitter name to Lauragh Whitmore with the caption; “Here for Connagh and Shaughna! LOVING all the Twitter banter.”
Could we love her anymore?
