Laura Whitmore has issued a passionate plea, calling for a photographer who’s been perched outside her house, to leave her alone.
The Love Island host revealed she’s constantly being hounded for pics, and begged for it to stop.
“To the photographer outside my house taking pictures of me without my consent every time I leave my front door – please leave me alone,” she said.
“Life is hard enough without every time I go for a walk or exercise having some creepy guy taking pics.”
Laura previously revealed it was this level of interest that made her worry about joining Love Island in the first place.
In a piece for Glamour Magazine, Laura wrote, “When I was asked to host Love Island, although I love the show, a part of me questioned whether I wanted to put myself in such a position that would invite public scrutiny.”
Earlier this week, it was confirmed the reality show wouldn’t be returning this summer due to Covid19.
Director of Television at ITV, Kevin Lygo has said, “We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it’s just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.”
He continued, “In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Mallorca to get the villa ready but clearly that’s now out of the question.
“We are very sorry for fans of the show but making it safely is our prime concern and Love Island will be back stronger than ever in 2021.”
Laura took to social media following the announcement and said, “Like with a lot of things because of restrictions with travel, social distancing and unable to plan ahead, Love Island is postponed until 2021.
“Great news is that there have been more applications then any other series! Next year is going to be big.”
