Laura Whitmore looked stunning as she took part in a glamorous photoshoot at the Bord Gais to promote her upcoming play.
The seasoned presenter is set to star in the production of Peter James’ Not Dead Enough, and she will play the role of mortuary assistant Cleo Morely in the stage adaptation of the crime series.
The DCU graduate revealed why she is so looking forward to her first big acting role. “I’m a huge fan of Peter James’ books and so honoured to be cast as his Cleo for her first theatrical outing.” she said. “Peter has created a strong character in Cleo Morely and I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the role.”
Although she’s best known to us as a tv presente and Strictly Come Dancing contestant, the Bray native is no stranger to acting and she’s been waiting a long time for a role like this to come her way.
“Before I trained in Journalism, I studied Drama and played some great roles including Lady Macbeth and Annie in All My Sons!” she said.
“I have been waiting a long time to return to acting and for a great role like this to come along, so I can’t wait to get on stage around the UK and of course Dublin with Not Dead Enough.”
Laura sported a figure-hugging ,pleated, long-sleeved gold dress while promoting the play yesterday – and she looked incredible!
The play will from shown from the 18th of April to 22nd April 2017 at Dublin’s Bord Gais Energy Theatre and tickets for the show are priced from €17.50, and are available from www.bordgaisenergytheatre.ie.
