Laura Fox is no stranger to the glitz and glamour of Dancing with the Stars.

She competed in the series in 2024 and now two years on she is presenting the series alongside Jennifer Zamparelli.

“I love the show so much, as we can tell,” Laura laughs as VIP Magazine catches up with her.

“I think I was the most persistent person to ever send emails to the bosses to get on the bloody show. Even to get the opportunity to cover the maternity leave was absolutely phenomenal.

“Whatever happens down the line, it’s got such a special place in my heart, of course I’d love to be part of it.”

And she’s over the moon to take part in the 100th show!

“It’s unbelievable. The fact that it’s been going for this long is so cool. It’s got such a great legacy, and there’s so many people who have been a part of it, who will be coming back for the 100th night as well. I’m absolutely delighted.’’

Of course, after reaching the final of the show two years ago, Laura chats about what it feels like being on the other side of things.

Before stepping onto the stage for the first time, she admits she felt there was going to be way more pressure and all eyes were going to be on her walking down the stairs.

But the reality surprised her, telling us: “When I actually came out to do the presenting gig I realised you know what this is so much easier cause I don’t have the pressure of maybe getting the boot of the show.”

Her predecessor Doireann, gave her advice to “have a ball” and “just enjoy every single second of it”.

So we have to know, who surprised her the most on the dancefloor!

“Oh, Paudie for sure,” she’s quick to answer.

“Did you ever think that you’d see a prison guard who’s not from this showbiz world come out and give it his all? 68 and he’s never actually put a foot wrong; I know the judges have their own comments to say about him,” she says.

“I find him so enjoyable to watch, so enjoyable to be around. I just absolutely adore him.”

Dancing with the Stars airs Sundays at 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player
