U2 were last night joined on stage by Lady Gaga, and together they blasted out an outstanding rendition of “Ordinary Love”.
The Poker Face star has become the latest celebrity spotted at U2’s sold out tour, joining the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Nile Rodgers, Alicia Keys and Bon Jovi.
Gaga sang a duet with Bono and played the piano as they performed the song which shot to fame after the 2013 Nelson Mandela biopic.
The U2 frontman was full of of compliments for the 29-year-old pop icon saying, “It’s yourself. Her Ladyness, Her Gaganess is here this evening. That’s a treat.”
He again took the mic after the song was finished and gushed, “Princess, Queen, one day Woman of New York City, here with us tonight in Madison Square Garden. What a delight.”
Fans at the Madison Square gig were blown away by the underwear-clad superstar and U2 themselves took to Instagram after the show to thank her for appearing.
They uploaded a photo of the stage with the caption, “all hail her Gaganess”, to which she quickly responded, “all hail you too.”
