Kilkenny Hurler TJ Reid is set to marry his long-term love Niamh de Brûn following a romantic proposal this week.
The couple took to social media to announce the exciting news, after a relaxing break at the Europe hotel in Kerry.
Sharing a photo of the happy couple on a bed covered in rose petals toasting with champagne, the sports star said: “Let the celebrations continue. Cheers to my wife to be @niamhdebrun”
Former Miss Ireland contestant Niamh shared the same photo with the simple caption: “I said yes”.
She later shared a photo of herself gazing at the sparkler of a ring, describing herself as ‘still in shock’.
