Actor and comedian Kevin Hart and hip-hop artist and actor Ice Cube were in Dublin today to receive the prestigious ‘Gold Medal of Honorary Patronage for Outstanding Contribution to Acting and Entertainment’ from the Philosophical Society at Trinity College Dublin.
The president of the Philosophical Society, Ludivine Rebet, awarded the funny men with the honour, and the comedic pair posed outside the college in front of huge crowds of dedicated fans.
Before receiving their award the pair did a Q&A in The Foundry, at Google headquarters with Baz Ashmawy. While there they also met Dublin GAA players Kevin McManamon and Michael Darragh MacAuley, who presented the film stars with Dublin jerseys.
The actors are in Ireland to promote their new movie Ride Along 2, which opens in cinemas today. The film is the much anticipated sequel to the action-comedy Ride Along which was released in 2014.
And fans of the duo will be delighted to watch them chatting to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show tonight. We’ve high hopes for this interview, Ryan… don’t let us down!
