DSPCA Ambassador Kellie Harrington has announced Pups in the Park for Doggie Lovers is back.

Pups in the Park proved to be a a big success last year, and will be returning from 10th – 11th of September at a new location, in Dublin’s Marlay Park. This special canine event has also renewed its charity partnership with The Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA), Ireland’s leading animal welfare charity.

Once again, the event will host an exciting line up of doggie inspired activities for owners and dogs to enjoy. New to the show and in a further commitment to the charity, the DSPCA will host a fun Dog Show & Sniffari as well as an Adoption Parade in the Leader Main Arena, giving potential ‘pawrents’ the chance to meet some of the dogs in the charity’s care that are in search of their forever homes.

The event will also provide an exciting opportunity for previous rescues and their owners to meet up and reunite with DSPCA staff during the Rescue Reunions which will take place each day. The perfect chance for the humans to chit-chatwhile their fur-babies play!

“I would ask fellow dog lovers to get behind this great event to help raise much needed funds for the DSPCA. Pups in the Park is the perfect opportunity to get out and make some special memories with precious four-legged family members!”

Commenting on the announcement, Suzanne McGovern, of the DSPCA says, “We are delighted to be returning as the official charity partner of ‘Pups in the Park’. The festival has an exciting line-up of events which will not only promote the work of the charity but also help to raise vital funds as part of a great day out”.
