Kayleah Long has shared an adorable photo of newborn baby Jax to celebrate his return to her hospital room after spending five days in a care unit.
Football ace Shane Long and his long-time love welcomed their third child into the world on Monday and although the pair were over the moon with the new arrival, the first few days were a rollercoaster of emotions, as Jax had to be taken into the hospital’s care unit to be monitored. Kayleah explained the turmoil the family felt in a recent social media post.
She wrote, “Last couple of days have been a mixture of emotion! From having a new life enter the world and making your family feel complete, to then having him rushed away from you and not knowing what is going on, to him getting stronger and saying ‘see you in a couple of days’ to your other 2 children and husband.
“To him then taking a dip which could now mean longer, really has been tough! But today I am stronger than yesterday and smiling to stay strong for my little Man Jax!”
Now it seems that Jax is well and truly on the mend, as he’s been taken out of the hospital’s care unit and returned to his doting mother’s room.
The brunette beauty took to Instagram to share the good news with her followers.
“Finally after a long week I have Jax in my room. I feel like Christmas has come early. So in love! Now to get him home to daddy and his sisters. #perfect #complete#getushome.”
