Kayleah Long has taken to social media to post a touching tribute to her husband Shane, and the entire Ireland squad.
The tribute comes following Ireland’s departure from the Euro 2016 championship, after losing 2-1 to France yesterday afternoon.
A very proud Mrs. Long posted a cute pic on Instagram of herself and the Republic of Ireland striker, with one of their two daughters, Teigan. In the caption Kayleah said how proud she was of her hubby, and of the whole team.
“So proud of this man today! The whole team worked their socks off, just a shame we didn’t get the result,” she wrote.
In the post Kayleah also thanked fans for all their support and positive comments: “These last few weeks we have made many lovely memories and met many lovely fans! Thanks for all your lush comments and support.”
Congratulations to the boys in green, you did us all proud!
