Fair City‘s Katy is finally set to be freed from her captor – much to the delight of fans.
The storyline, which has been ongoing for over a year, will be coming to and end in the next few days, with the circumstances still unknown.
Last night’s episode saw Katy’s brother Emmett get agonisingly close to freeing his sister, only to be caught up in the deadly situation himself.
Speaking to TV Now magazine, Johnny Ward, who plays Ciaran in the soap says he’s not to sure how things will play out for his character.
“To be honest, I don’t know how it’s going to end for Ciaran- I can’t see him sitting in McCoy’s in two weeks time or in two years time, reminiscing with Eoghan about kidnapping Katy!
“When it does come eventually to an end, I’m really going to miss it,” he said.
Viewers were left furious after last night’s double episode, as Katy failed to break free yet again. Many fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
