The Irish pro boxer took to the ring last weekend in the 3arena, Dublin as she faced off against Chantelle Cameron.
Despite a devastating loss, the entire country is still incredibly proud of the pro boxer with many maintaining she is “the pride of Ireland”.
Noting her incredible ability to make the most out of everything and never backing down, fans online hailed her as ” a champion in victory and defeat”.
They even stated “there is only one Katie Taylor”.

Katie is now relaxing at home with her family as she takes some time off post fight.
She took to Instagram to post a sweet snap alongside her grandmother, Kathleen who is one of her biggest supporters.
Katie is very close with her grandmother and visits her every time she returns to the Irish shores.
Kathleen proved her biggest fan status when she said she would even back Katie in a fight against Mike Tyson.

The pro boxer is very close with her mum, Bridget and sister, Sarah who regularly support her at her fights including when she competed at the 2012 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
We can’t wait to see Katie back in the ring but love to see her taking some time out with her family.
