Boxing sensation, Katie Taylor has received a massive welcome home at Dublin airport this morning following her Lightweight World Boxing success.
Defeating Delfine Persoon over the weekend, Katie’s victory saw her make history by becoming the undisputed lightweight champion of the world.
The Bray boxer touched down in Dublin airport just before 10.30am this morning.
Walking through the doors of terminal 2, Katie emerged to the awaiting masses holding no fewer than five belts on her arms.

Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Shane Ross was amongst those in attendance.
Fans of the boxer got the chance to meet their idol as she took time to speak with the crowds, pose for selfies, and sign gloves.
Speaking on her arrival Katie said: “I have definitely come a long, long way. It has been an incredible journey,
“There is a lot of people who have supported me over the years, and to be holding all of these belts now and being a champion at the pinnacle of my sport is an absolute dream.
She added, “To be holding all five belts, this is what it’s all about. This is why I started boxing in the first place.”
