Kathryn Thomas has confirmed that she will not be presenting RTE’s first ever series of Dancing With The Stars.
The former presenter of The Voice of Ireland was tipped as a hot favourite for the show, however speaking to the Irish Daily Mail, 37-year-old Kathryn said that she has no interest in presenting the show.
Kathryn has passed up on the opportunity, as she’s simply too busy to take on anything else at the moment.
“I actually just took myself out of the running. I have loved working with Larry (Bass) and I have loved working with the whole team but my plan is to kind of take a little bit of time out in January,” she said.
The Carlow native has indeed been keeping herself very busy lately, as she’s currently juggling her roles on Operation Transformation, it’s new celebrity spin-off as well as running her Pure Results bootcamp.
“Then also doing another big entertainment show on top of that, I felt it was too much too soon with the scheduling for me,” she said.
However, Kathryn did reveal that she’s a huge fan of the celebrity dancing competition and will be tuning into the show when it hits Irish screens.
“I love the show and I’m a huge fan so for me to be sitting watching it at home will be great,” she said.
