With all eyes on the beautiful bride, Kathryn Thomas wowed guests at her recent wedding, with not one, but two incredible dresses.
The RTE star wed Padraig McLoughlin in Kilkea Castle, Co. Kildare, surrounded by 200 of their closest friends and family.
During the humanist ceremony, Kathryn donned a beautiful, backless gown designed by Umit Kutluk.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine, she said, “I wanted something really simple, with a really dramatic back and a giant oversized bow.
“I wanted pockets. I didn’t want anything shiny, any lace, any diamanté, any adornments. I wanted simple and pared-back, a sort of architectural look. I absolutely loved it.”
Later on, the bride changed into a floral number, by Helen Cody, who also designed baby Ellie’s dress.
“It was such a work of art,” she beamed.
“I wanted something I could dance in and move around in. I loved the lace, I loved how light it was, and again, I loved the pockets.”
