Katherine Lynch has revealed who she’d like to win Dancing with the Stars, following her elimination from the show last night.
The comedian and her partner Kai Widdrington performed a rock and roll style jive to Tina Turner’s Proud Mary on yesterday’s show, but her performance failed to wow viewers and judges, and she was sent home after competing in the dance off against Dayl Cronin.
Speaking about her elimination she said: “This series has been absolute joy. I’m happy to go tonight because there are better dancers here than me. I couldn’t have done it without Kai and we are going to be friends forever.
“I’m taking with me a love of dance that I’m absolutely going to keep with me for the rest of my life, I can’t describe the joy it has brought. Everyone here is like a family and it has just been such a special experience.”
Katherine would like to see Red Rock actress Denise McCormack take home the coveted glitter ball, as she believes she’s the got the biggest passion for dance.
“I would like to see Denise and Ryan win. Because I think she’s actually really been underscored recently.” she said on The Nicky Byrne Show With Jenny Greene.
“Who knows who’s going to come up the ranks, I mean Aidan really showed himself off brilliantly last night. He came second on the leader board, and like Dancing Dessie – who doesn’t love Dancing Dessie.
“Who knows in this country, the way people vote or whatever. But technically I think Denise is the best and she also brings passion to the dance which you need. You have to have the passion, and she loves it.”
