Karen Koster has revealed that she is working on a new TV project, and it’s very different to Xpose.
The presenter is working on a documentary which focuses on parenting and the struggle that comes with juggling it all.
“It’s in the initial stages, nothing has been filmed as of yet and we’re still kind of brainstorming.” she told the Irish Mirror.
The mum-of-two is drawing from personal experiences to create the show.
She has a two-year-old called Finn and one-year-old JJ, and has had to balance it all with being a working mum.

“I’m really excited about it. Over the last few years it’s constantly been me loving the job I do but obviously loving my kids more.
“I wanted to keep up the career I had before they arrived but how do you do that and still make sure they’re getting enough of me.
“It’s about examining that struggle – are you better off staying at home or keep up with your job?”
Karen explained that is it outside of her comfort zone because she’s been working on Xpose for so long.

“I’ve never done anything outside of Xpose in the last ten years so I’m getting to do something in a totally different vein.
“I’m totally nervous about exposing myself and talking about my family at such a public level, but I think it’s something that resonates with any parent.
“I’m hoping it touches a nerve and is an interesting watch.”
The 36-year-old also added that she is feeling great about the recent TV3 shake-up.
“We’ve got our new schedule, which we’re delighted about. We’re on at a consistent time on Mondays, Wednesday and Friday in between two Coronation Streets, which is great,” she said.
“It’s a ratings gift, things really are going great.”
