Karen Koster has decided to let people know that it hasn’t always been smooth sailing in her career.
Before Karen made it big on Xpose, she found it difficult to even get an audition for roles on tv.
Posting a snap of a rejection letter on Twitter this afternoon, Karen said, “Clearing our my old room and found this from August 2003 when I couldn’t even get an audition.”
The unnamed company claimed that they were looking for ‘very fresh young talent’, and Karen simply didn’t fit the role.
Considering she was only 22 at the time, we wonder just how young they wanted their presenters to be?!
Obviously good things come to those who wait though, as Karen landed her dream role as a host on Xpose, and has been there since 2007.
We bet that company is raging now!
