Colm Hughes has spoken about his decision to leave RTE 2FM after 10 years with the radio station.
The Santry Native is leaving for a new managerial role in Radio Nova and believes he made the right decision.
“I had a wonderful 10 years in 2fm but we drifted apart near the end and I knew I needed a new challenge and this is it,” he said.
“There were a few offers on the table, but Nova just feels right.”
Colm was well know for his role on FM104’s Strawberry Alarm Clock breakfast show, which he presented with co-hot Jim Jim Nugent for over 10 years.
Best of luck to Colm in his future roles.
